The Student Alliance 4 Inclusion has been named as a finalist for the Y WA Collective Action Award at this year’s Youth Affairs Council of Western Australia (YACWA)’s Youth Awards 2025. We are so thrilled to be a finalist and to be able to connect with so many other amazing people and groups working in the youth advocacy space.
This reflects the value of inclusive education in the youth space, and the voices of young disabled Australians in creating change. We’re looking forward to the award ceremony and to continuing to highlight inclusive education as a key issue in the community.
It is now more than ever that we call on the Minister for Education of Western Australia to release the findings of the School Education Act 1999 (WA) Review and to implement the changes called for by disabled students.
